NEW - NWA 2798 Very Rare and Gorgeous L3.2 Meteorite 2.0g
2.0 gram part slice of NWA 2798, an Extremely Rare L3.2, S2, W1 Chondrite found in Northwest Africa 2005. This is one the hardest to find subtypes in existence nearly escaping metamorphosis on its parent body. There are only a handful of chondrites in the world that have remained near pristine since their origins. NAU, a NomCom approved facility classified this meteorite using the latest accepted techniques so you can be sure the L3.2 classification will hold. This is because the strictest standards were applied during study. This meteorite is very fresh with a weathering level of only 1. A total known weight of only 1,805 grams is officially recorded for this very fascinating and scientifically important find so there is very little to go around.
