Item for auction is an 6.41g slice of NWA 6955 LL6 chondrite. A type sample was analyzed by Tony Irving of University of Washington, and classified as an LL6 ordinary chondrite with a shock stage of S2 and weathering grade of W1. The meteorite is a very fresh breccia composed of angular, highly recrystallized chondrite clasts containing rare remnant partial chondrules. It looks very similar to some lunar meteorites. Olivine (Fa30.3-30.7), orthopyroxene (Fs24.3-24.7Wo1.9-2.0), clinopyroxene (Fs10.1-10.3Wo43.4±0.0) with accessory chromite, chlorapatite, kamacite (slightly stained) and troilite.
